Surface Protection for Stone

Marble Armor is a clear protective film designed specifically for natural stone surfaces. Applied directly to countertops, vanities, bar tops, tables, and other horizontal stone surfaces, it creates a durable barrier that prevents staining, etching, and bruising from everyday use.

Think of it like a screen protector for your stone. The film is virtually invisible once installed, preserving the full beauty and character of the natural material underneath. Marble Armor is available in two finishes—glossy (high-shine) and honed (matte)—so it can be matched to the existing finish of your stone.

How It Works

Unlike traditional penetrating sealers that soak into the pores of stone, Marble Armor forms a surface-level barrier that sits on top of the material. This means acids, oils, dyes, and other common substances never make direct contact with the stone itself.

The result is complete protection against etching from acidic liquids like lemon juice, vinegar, and wine—something traditional sealers simply cannot achieve. Sealers help with staining but do nothing to prevent the dull, white marks caused by acid etching. Marble Armor prevents both.

Why It Outperforms Traditional Sealers

Traditional stone sealers are penetrating treatments that fill the pores of stone to slow down absorption. They need reapplication every 6–12 months, offer limited protection against etching, and do nothing to prevent physical damage like scratching or bruising.

Marble Armor is a physical barrier. It blocks stains, prevents etching, resists scratches, and has been tested to withstand temperatures up to 400°F. Once installed by a certified Marble Armor installer, the film protects your stone for years—not months.

Professional Installation Only

Marble Armor is not a DIY product. Proper surface preparation and professional application are critical to ensuring clarity, adhesion, and long-term durability. All installations are performed by certified Marble Armor installers who have undergone specialized training in surface preparation, cutting techniques, and application methods tailored specifically for stone.

Rose Restoration is a certified and authorized Marble Armor installer serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC, with over 40 years of stone restoration experience.
